The Laurel Highlands Golf Academy was formed in 2021 in Johnstown, Pa. Derek Leach, PGA, has over 15 years of experience teaching and has given thousands of lessons. LHGA works with golfers of all ages from beginner to the high-level collegiate golfer and aspiring PGA Tour player. The academy offers 6 programs throughout the summer months for ages 5-18 years of age, adult, and ladies group lessons as well. Private coaching is offered March through the end of October in addition too our academy programs.  LHGA blends biomechanics and golf club dynamics to bring you a total immersion in the sport of golf. LHGA prepares you with the golfers toolbox that gives you the proper tools, knowledge, and know how to make the game of golf more enjoyable and competitive.
